Family Event for families with disabled children living in Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre

Join us on the 1st September for a trip to the UK’s only Shaun the Sheep attraction, Farmer Ted’s Adventure Farm Park in Ormskirk. Coach travel from Aiming Higher is included and we will be providing an accessible wheelchair coach too. The cost of this fantastic trip is £7 per head and bookings open on Thursday 8th August for the accessible coach and on Tuesday 13th for the standard buses. (Only bookings from parties that include a full time wheelchair user will be accepted for the accessible book and anyone else will be asked to rebook using the other form). If you’d prefer to travel in your own car, you are welcome to do so – please book on the standard booking form from Tuesday and tick the box to let us know how you will be travelling.

Farmer Ted’s Adventure Farm is a large farm geared around children with plenty of fun on offer including free Tractor Rides around the Farm, Birds of Prey, Pony Grooming, Ferret Racing, Guinea Pig Handling, an opportunity to Meet the Llama, a Jungle Themed Mini-Beast Centre, Shaun the Sheep attraction and much more! Outside they have huge Adventure Areas for you to explore! Come and get lost in their Wooden Maze, Jump About on their Jumping Pillows, test your climbing and balancing skills on the Agility Trail and see who is the fastest on the four-lane Toboggan Run. They also have Pedal Go-Karts, a Massive Sandpit and Crazy Climbing Frames! Inside they have large adventure play halls with 8 Different Slides, Rope Bridges and Climbing frames suitable for both toddlers and young children’s climbing adventures, plus, two soft play centres ideal for different ages.
