Join us for an informal chat with other parents/carers for the first session back after the Summer Break. There will be no speaker this week, just a chance to catch up with staff and other families on how the summer went over a brew and refreshments! Please note no children are allowed at these sessions.

Coffee & Chat – Cookery Demo

With the school holidays looming, “Steph the Chef” (Not a chef) will be suggesting and demonstrating simple ideas  to cook with the children this Summer. No need to book. Refreshments included. Session runs from 9.30-11.30am.

Coffee & Chat – Speaker from Cygnet Programme

This week we will be joined by the Cygnet programme lead at Blackpool Council to explain more about their range of Cygnet courses and what you can gain by attending them. There is no need to book, just come along and join us. refreshments included.

Coffee & Chat – Speaker from Patient Experience NHS

Emma Bartlam, Patient Experience Officer for Children’s Community Services at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be joining us to explain more about her role and get feedback on families experiences of Community Services.  No need to book. Refreshments included. Session runs from 9.30-11.30am.

Sarah Lindsay, Head of CYP Services, The Boathouse Youth joins us to speak about the work they do with the children and young people of Blackpool. No need to book. Refreshments included. Session runs from 9.30-11.30am.

Amanda Reddy, Senior Independent Children & Young Person’s Advocate at Empowerment and her colleague will join us to discuss the work they do. No need to book. Refreshments included. Session runs from 9.30-11.30am.

Maria Stewart, Blackpool’s Principal Educational Psychologist will join us to discuss the EHC process and other support available. No need to book. Session runs from 9.30-11.30am. Refreshments included.

Coffee & Chat – Craft Session

Join us for a chat, a brew and the chance to take part in some craft activities. Parent/carers only – no children. No need to book. Session runs from 9.30-11.30am. Refreshments included.

Coffee & Chat – Speaker

The local council’s discretionary support team will join us to discuss the Cost Of Living challenges we all face and how they can help. No need to book. Session runs from 9.30-11.30am. Refreshments included.
